Your Essential Guide to Packing for a Long Business Trip

Bring Clothes You Can Mix and Match

From business professional to casual, it can be difficult to pack several different outfits into a suitcase. If you're traveling by plane you'll be even more restricted. That's why it's important to bring articles of clothing that can easily be worn with other pieces to create a whole new look. You get bonus points if you can use the clothing item in completely different styles. An example of this for men would be a pair of khakis. Throw a button-down and a blazer over it, and you're business casual. Later in the night, you can switch those out for a polo shirt and you can a casual outfit for dinner or drinks. For women, we recommend a stylish white button-down. It can easily be paired with jeans for a comfy, casual look or can be dressed up with a suit for a full day of meetings.

Pro Tip: This rule especially applies to shoes!

Roll Your Clothes

With your business attire that can easily get wrinkled, we don't recommend rolling. However, rolling most casual clothing like jeans, T-shirts, sweaters, etc. can save you a lot of space in your bag.
