"Had a fantastic birthday celebration weekend with my family. The place was so peaceful and clean. Hosts were extremely responsive as well. They had kayaks for us to use and a lovely patio with a fire pit to hang at. We got out on a paddleboard we brought one day. The next day the water was kind of gross but not sure if that’s typical. Would be great for kayaking but wouldn’t want to swim off the dock. The place was perfect for us and made for a really special weekend. Five stars!"

"This is a beautiful cabin. We rent a few VRBO's per year and this was the cleanest. Very cozy, nice views of the lake, comfortable beds, upgrade amenities throughout the cabin. We love to fish, while we only caught some small sun fish, the dock was nice. We were up for a funeral, so it was nice to have family join us and enjoy the fire pit, enjoy the views and share stories."

It's only a short drive to nice hiking trails, and if you're into it, you can check out the biggest ball of twine in Darwin (a 5 minute drive). Very happy we chose this place."

"This place was so beautiful. We went in the winter and the lake view was gorgeous. You can’t walk down to the lake though from the cabin in the winter. I would think this would be great for the summer! You could fit probably 10 people here with a couple air mattresses. Plenty of room upstairs to put them. Kids have a cute area up stairs to hang out too if you want kids upstairs and adults downstairs. We did a girls weekend and would defiantly come here again!"

"This lake home was exactly what we hoped it would be. The home was EXTREMELY clean and was private (except the neighbor's garage to the north of the property). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook (which is good because there isn't anything nearby) and the bathrooms / linens provided were very nice. The lake itself was very quiet and small, which is what we liked. We were able to use the kayak's provided to go all the way around the lake in less than an hour. The water was a bit murky, so swimming wasn't good. We used the fire pit every night - it was so nice to have all the fire wood provided! We had spectacular sunsets every night and clear skies for amazing star gazing. The only draw back was no washing machine and dryer. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and allowed us to have a very relaxing experience."

"We stayed at the cabin over Memorial Day weekend and it was just what we needed! The cabin is awesome - clean, comfortable, and well stocked (kitchen and garage). The view from the cabin and patio is beautiful! The patio was a great relaxing place to hang out and we lucked out with great weather. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing off the dock, the hammock and the firepit (firewood provided) in the evening! Would definitely recommend and also would go back to the cabin in the future! It is in an area without much around but the cabin/lake was all we wanted and needed!"

The management company was very attentive and had great customer service. We have only a couple suggestions; first the couches could use a cleaning or reupholstering/slip covers and a ladder to get in and out of the lake onto the dock would be nice."

"The house was perfect for our needs. Well stocked with towels and extra bathroom essentials. The lake was typically green for this time of year but that didn’t deter my relatives who stopped up from having a great time in it. The kayaks were great and the barbecue was sufficient. Nearest store was 10 minutes away which seemed shorter with each trip we made there. We had a few questions for Lance which he got back to us immediately. WIFI would be nice to have added there. Overall I would highly recommend staying there."

We used the kayaks in the garage and loved it! There would be space to use an inflatable mattress or two if needed for sleeping arrangement, but we didn't need it. "My family had the distinct privilege of being the first Airbnb-ers at this property!  And what an amazing property it is!!  The owners are super responsive, as was the property management company.<br/> This Dunn’s Lake property is really beautiful.  You can tell the owner was a true craftsman in all the fine details they’ve put into their place.  It’s decorated perfectly and everything is new and updated.<br/>You can sit on the porch and enjoy your morning coffee, or go out on the patio where you can have lunch or at nighttime you can sit by a roaring campfire.  The kitchen inside is spacious and has literally everything you would need to make any meal. <br/> The couches and gas fireplace were so comfortable to sit by.  We played games from their big selection, built puzzles, floated in the lake, did some tubing and waterskiing, and especially got in some early morning fishing.  We made memories my kids will surely never forget.<br/> You can tell the owners have taken time to figure out exactly what their renters will need to have a great time on their vacation, they’ve got the place stocked with fun!  Plus it’s only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities!!  We will be going again, very soon."
