"The house was excellent for our family to stay while we visited the area. Check in was easy, however note they have their own portal outside of Airbnb. The kitchen and house is well furnished with amenities like kitchen gadgets and towels. Drawbacks included small/hard beds, very challenging for couples to sleep in, and not a lot of hot water. Some rooms are small and can be challenging to find space for your suitcase (especially if the trundle bed is open). Overall we were happy and had a lovely trip."

"I spent 10 nights there over the 4th of July weekend. The place was clean and had a well appointed kitchen. The dock which faces the lake was my favorite place for coffee. The washer/dryer worked well, as did the stove and dishwasher. The neighbors we super friendly. One of them knocked on the door and invited me to come watch the boat parade on the 4th. We loved watching the deer and black squirrels. I booked a return trip. ."

Surprised at how many beds, linens, and restrooms you can fit a smaller space and still have a spacious dining and living room area. Perfect for a small family or a small group of friends. Not far away from any in-town places."

"It was really difficult to find a VRBO to stay that didn't give us grief about my husband's service dog. Minnestay definitely knows their ADA rules and provided the utmost care in communicating with me about the potential stay. The photos don't do this CUTE place justice. It's a container house, but it sits nestled in greenery (in the summer) amongst the trees across the road from the lake. The windows provide a picture perfect view. Though there are two neighbors on either side, you do not notice them nor can see them. Then let's talk about the amazing space planning and tastefully curated art. It's clear whomever designed or owns this property is an artist, so the attention to detail with the MCM furniture juxtaposed with clean modern hits the right notes. Combined with the windows looking into nature, it was Frank Lloyd Wright inspired! It was clean, and the amenities provided were above and beyond -- including complimentary wine and coffee. The ONLY downside? Two full size beds and one twin and not much bathroom counter space. But everything else far outweighs those minor cons. We will certainly be back! <3"

"We were in the area celebrating the holidays with family. We chose this location as a central hub with easy access to family, shopping, and eateries. The home was clean and the layout provided comfortable individual and shared gathering spaces. The property management and maintenance team quickly addressed questions about the heating systems and followed up to ensure that everything was working properly. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, watching deer in the backyard, and the views across the lake. "

"This was the perfect rental for a weekend trip for my family. Quiet neighborhood and nice view of the lake across the street. The house was equipped with everything we needed plus some. There were even a few local snacks and coffee beans for morning coffee left for us. My favorite surprise was each bedroom had a bedside fan available for use. I don’t sleep well without a fan! For such a small house the living area was larger than expected. There were only three of us but we easily could’ve had another couple stay with us. We did have an issue with the heat running too much (I know, could’ve been much worse like no heat in the winter in MN) which was promptly handled by the property management. There was a Target about 1 mile away which was perfect for grabbing food and drinks for our stay. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the Minneapolis area."

The beds were very comfortable for a great nights sleep.<br/>The MinneStay team/host was awesome!! "We had an amazing stay. All the amenities we needed to handle our meals. The Outside looked rather rusty like a double wide shipping van. But the inside was adroitly laid out and efficient. The master bedroom even had a sliding door that could shut it off from the rest of the house. Plenty of table space and kitchen wares to feed 7 adults and two children. It was a great time with a nice view of the lake. Deer strolled by early morning and late afternoon. Would like to come back."

Secluded property on a lake but convenient to shopping and for us, family and friends we wanted to visit. The management was very easy to work with when we needed an early checkin.
